Birthday card for daughter's boyfriend

Hi this is a card i made for my daughter's boyfriend ,he likes to play the guitar & the image pretty much looks like him.

I started off with a square card blank ,i used open office took the boy frame that i bought from the clipart fairy store it comes with the happy birthday greeting ,i then added this image mikey that i bought from charmed cards & crafts ,i just printed this out ,
I cut  it, coloured the image with promarkers & coloured pencils ,i have got to say i am no expert in colouring but i wish i was as some fellow crafters cards are just amazing due to their colouring skills .
Anyway all i did then was stick this onto my card blank and i added some green gems ,i also added a insert which i forgot to take a picture of. It didnt take long to make this card but i like it as i sometimes get stuck when it comes to male cards.

This is a card i made which you can get from the printable store at clipart fairy .
I printed it out followed the tutorial that is on the site on how to put it all together ,then i just added stickles around the frame which i think i spoiled a bit then i added ribbon with the gems on it  that i got from lidl  for  £ 1.99 ,they have several different kinds  to choose from . ,i stuck that to the inside so it would show through to the front of the card  and also used the same ribbon to the bottom of the card & made a bow to add to it but i missed out adding the part with the gems on it,i also added my own insert to it . 

Beautiful Birthday Easel Drawer Card & Money Envelope

Hi Everyone Sorry i have not had any new makes on my blog lately ,have not been able to get rid of this viral infection i have had for several weeks ,but i managed to force myself to make this piece of gorgeousness for my mum's birthday.

I started off with a piece of cardboard ,made a box shape ,added these gorgeous papers from Pink Petticoats,I dont have any cutting machine so for the scallop edge i used one of the keepsake boards and there was a scallop area on it and went over that cut it out and added that to the box,same with the scallop circle i bought the template from the cutting cafe, added the sentiment that i got from the clipart fairy store ,cut it out added it to the card,i added the flower digi from embellishments on the me to you cd rom & added stickles and pearls.

I put gold peel offs around the papers as a frame  ,added all flowers etc.. from dunelm mill,rejects & used a flower punch for the flowers on the corners and added pearls to them,the enjoy your special day was a sentiment also from the me to you cd rom ,i cut out a scallop shape using the same board previously  and added stickles around the edge of that.

As you can see i added my mums favourite choccies in the drawer,the embellishment on the drawer is also from dunelm mill.

The money wallet i bought the template from the cutting cafe ,printed it onto the fabulous papers from pink petticoats ,added the gold scallop card using the same process as before ,i then added a gold paper fastener and added a pearl to it .Below is a close up of the flowers,pearls etc.. and i wrapped it all in gold swirl cellophane with a gold ribbon i had in my stash ,i hope you like it !

Cute christmas card

Hi I started making this card by printing off these beautiful papers called christmas sparkles from Pink Gem Designs they have a selection of gorgeous colours in the set,i then went into docraft digital designer and made the scallop circle as i dont have any cutting machine,i added this cute digistamp that i got from Diane with compliments at Disdigidownloads.com to the scallop shape ,cut it out and coloured with promarkers and normal colouring pens i then added this to my bp to my square card blank..
I then printed out snowflake papers from Pink Petticoats and cut round a few snowflakes & added then to my card,i  cut out the  purple  ponseittas and the tag from a kit from nitwitcollections.com where i then added this lovely freebie sentiment to the tag which is from Deesdesigns.com,i finished with stickles on the snowflakes & image & some gems from poundland

Penguin Christmas Card

Hi  everyone sorry i have not added any new posts recently i have not been feeling great lately.Anyway this card i started off with new  digi papers called christmas sparkles from Pink Gem Designs which have fantastic colours,
I went into docraft digital designer and added the circle scallop onto the paper then added a circle shape which i added this cute penguin freebie from Bugaboo stamps .com,I coloured the penguin with promarker pens.I cut out snowflakes from Pink Petticoats.co.uk  snowflake  papers and added them to the card .
The sentiment i added to the scallop tag that i made up in  digital designer which is a freebie from Dee's Design Blog .I then finished the card by adding gems from poundland & stickles icicles and a bow on the sentiment tag.I hope you like it  x

Birthday card

This card i made using a kit from my memories ,i printed out the star backing paper cut it to my square blank card size,then went into my graphics software and choose the pale blue paper added the happy birthday border frame to it added the star embellishments then the balloons ,the presents & the cake with the candle & duplicated the presents & decoupaged them .I added my own square  embellishment from my own stash added peel off letters & added the bow finished with stickles.

Surprise News

Birthday card for a pregnant friend

For this card i used a square blank card added papers  & greeting  from the me to you cd rom ,made a scallop circle from the docraft digital designer which i added my gorgeous image that i got a while ago from the clipart fairy store,added the papers to my card blank cut out my scallop circle and added that to the papers on the card ,cut out the greeting and added that to the card then finished with flowers & gems from my own stash.

Black & White Good luck card

 This card i made i started with a 6x6 card blank,added a black card layer slightly smaller than the card blank,then black & white polka dot backing paper,i went on the digital designer and made a scallop shape with the new shaper tool added the butterfly digi from bugaboostamps and added the greeting from the DD too.I cut out another butterfly and layered it onto the other one and added gems to the butterfly and around the corners of the card.

The inside i added a black layer and added my greeting onto white card & added a couple of peel off butterflys.

Xmas card using shaper tool from digital designer

Started by using the me to you cd rom on digital designer,added my chosen paper to a 6x6 card blank.Used the shaper tool a white scallop circle ,then added to that a pink one and then added to that a smaller white one .I then added a character to the middle of this & added the snowflake embellishments around the character ,I cut this out and added it to my card.I printed out a border & greeting and left a white border around both of them then added them to my card.Finished with some glitter (far too much i think )sorry photo is not great but if you click on the picture it is a bit clearer .

Anniversary card

I started this card by using the clipart fairy shapers. I resized one to 18cm then added my image & greeting   from the me to you cd rom. I  added the stars and embellishments which is also from the me to you cd rom set. I decoupaged the stars and then printed another 19cm shaper which i mounted the imaged shaper to. 

I printed out another 19cm shaper, folded it  in half and stuck that to back of the card so the card can stand.  I then printed out the plate that comes with the shaper set, added my greeting and stuck that to the base of the back of my card. To finish I added glitter to the card.

Cute Anniversary Card

I bought this brilliant kit  Grin 'n Bear it from nitwitcollections .com,
I used this in open office resized the frame that comes with the bow ,added the bear with flowers image which is in the kit ,then added my own greeting cut out a separate rose( also in kit) to add to top right hand corner and the brad (also from kit)to middle of bow and lots of glitter finished with adding this on to a tent card.

Bookatrix Anniversary Card

This is a card i made for my mums cousin & wife for their 25th Anniversary from the bookatrix board .
3 layers of card red ,silver & white ,i made the layers up then cut out 2 hearts that i mounted on top of one another with peel off  flowers,silver peel offs for the edges glitter numbers & gems for the middle of the hearts,i computer generated the verse added more peel offs around the edges of the card ,the rose,the champagne glasses the bells & names  are all peel offs too .

Xmas girl

I have had this download sheet for a while think it was from cardmaking downloads ,sheet design by Janet Briggs.
I began by printing this out ,cut it out and mounted it onto white linen card,added gold peel off round the edge,decoupaged the girl ,added a gold bow ,gold stars,the sentiment was on the sheet already just cut it out and stuck to the card then added glitter.

Finally made a tent card and mounted the finished card onto the tent card .

Hi Everyone,This image is from craftsuprint i have had this for a while ,i cut it out added decoupage parts & sentiment put it on to blue ,lilac & teal pearlised card which matches the colours in the image,i then added snowflakes from nitwits collections .com, added a couple of gems from meiflowers to the snowflakes  then added lots of glitter :)

angel xmas globe card

Hi, this globe with image is from the clipart fairy website,all i did was print it out cut it add the decoupage to the angels dresses,then added peel off sentiment & snowflakes added glitter ,i then made a tent card to the back of the card.

The purple globe on a stand & sentiment are from the clipart fairy website,i printed the globe onto a4 landscape,then folding it into a A5 card, cut it out, ,i then printed the image out that i got from pink gems website i coloured it and added it to the card,then i printed out the sentiment and stuck that down to the card & added glitter.took photo after i applied the glitter so its still wet looking sorry.

Anniversary card

This card i used Rose Garden Shapers from the clipart fairy website,I printed 5 different sizes out  in open office ,the first two were 21cmx21cm one for the base card and the other folded in half as the stand for the card.then i made a 20cmx20cm in  which i added my own sentiment ,the image was a free download from papercraft inspirations i added that to a 10cmx10cm shaper  then stuck it to the card i added flowers from meiflower website , i also added pink gems to the flowers then i made a 12cmx12cm shaper for the to & from  on the back of the card and to finish added glitter.

The shapers,image& sentiment are all from the clipart fairy website.I think the cocktail glass was a freebie from the clipart fairy blog a while ago.I added some flowers, gems and lots of glitter.

xmas globe on a stand

This globe on a stand was a freebie from clipart fairy blog  it already has the penguin & the snowman image on it.All i did was add my own sentiment to the bottom.I then printed it out onto glossy a4 paper ,cut it out.Dont ask me why a coin is in the picture i never even noticed it till i added it to the blog lol!

Added the bow from the christmas past dvd rom set,i went into craftartisit and changed the colour of the bow slightly  to match  the  trees on the globe i then printed it out ,cut it  and added glitter to it.

I also printed out 2 stars from the christmas past dvd rom set went into craftartist and changed the colour again so it matches the bow,printed them out ,cut them  and added glitter to them.

I found these little birdies on a decoupage sheet from a card i bought from cardmaking downloads.Cut them out and added glitter to the both of them and to areas on the images and around the images.

Sorry the photos are a bit blurry just using my camera on my blackberry ,sometimes i can get them not too bad other times they look a bit blurry.

coffee girl card

Hi made this card for a friend of mine who is a coffeeholic!
The frame & image are just a few of the many gorgeous creations from wendy at the clipart fairy website.i printed out the frame ,cut it ,added it to card blank , printed, cut around the image added it to the frame.
 Printed a bp from the clipart fairy  website used a flower punch added the flowers , gold peel off border around the edge of the card then added pink gems to the flowers and the corners of the card.

A speedy recovery card

The shapers,  image & sentiment  are  all from  the clipart fairy website,just resized added it to an 8x8 card then added a bow ,some  flowers ,gems and glitter.

The tree & sentiment both come from the christmas past dvd rom set I printed it onto white card then mounted it onto A6 black card blank  i then added clear gems,diamond glitter,silver petals ,silver ribbon & bow.

The snowflake medallions are from fredshesaid blogspot, i just changed the colour to purple and printed out the purple snowflake paper not sure where i got it from,added some glitter glue and a gem.
